Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Allie, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. "Allie," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Allie and its operators. "You" refers to the person or entity using the service.

What Allie Does

Allie is an AI-powered Life Secretary that helps families coordinate through SMS. You can store information, ask questions, and manage household knowledge by texting Allie. Allie uses AI to understand your messages and provide helpful responses based on what your family has shared.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Allie to:

• Store or transmit illegal content
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission
• Circumvent security measures or access controls

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide to Allie, including messages, facts, and knowledge base entries. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train AI models.

AI-Generated Responses

Allie uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. Allie is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). You are responsible for verifying important information independently. We are not liable for decisions made based on Allie's responses.

SMS and Messaging

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Allie. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out at any time by texting STOP. Message frequency varies based on your usage.

Pricing and Payment

Some features of Allie require a paid subscription. Prices are displayed on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. If you cancel a subscription, you retain access through the end of your current billing period.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Allie available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Allie and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of Allie after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Allie will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
